About us
DNA Images is the brain child of Dr Alexander Aab. His vision was to create unique and contemporary art based on the elegant sophistication of a persons individual DNA. His DNA art truly represents DNA at a molecular level showing the beauty and elegance of one of natures most intriguing and wonderous creations, the building blocks of life - the double helix of DNA.
His first degree was in Chemistry focussing on theoretical methods and then studied for his doctorate in Computational Biophysics. His work now includes molecular modelling, quantum theory, theoretical biophysics and many apsects of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, algorithm design and computing. He is a keen musician and sportsman running both half and full marathons and a qualified personal trainer. He has a passion for art and science in all of its wonderous forms and is in a fortunate position to see these worlds collide. His professional career has focussed on designing drugs for Biotech and Pharamaceutical companies to cure some of the worlds most horrendous and damaging diseases. Oh yes and he has set up DNA Images.
